Many people wonder why Oprah Winfrey meditates and why she emphasis on the need to meditate once a day. What guided meditations do, is teach you to relax your thoughts so that you can slow down and are able to reflect on different aspects of your life.

 

Many people feel that meditation is all about sitting quietly and trying to achieve a state of consciousness. It’s not about achieving anything, but rather about coming into the present moment, because it is in the present moment that you really know how you’re doing.
